Pan Am Railways

Dispatcher communications on former B&M lines utilize a duplex (two frequency simplex) radio system, BOTH frequencies must be entered to monitor BOTH sides of communications.

When two trains are close to each other, one engineer will often "flip channels" and TX on 161.160 to chat with the other crew.
