Concord Fire Alarm dispatches the Concord Fire Department and the CAMAFC.  Concord Fire Department's Communications Operations Center is located within the Concord Fire Department Headquarters complex.

The Communications Center's mission is to receive and retransmit emergency communications for the Concord Fire Department and the CAMAFC.  CAMAFC covers an area of 644 square miles with an estimated population (as of 2001) of 104,327. In 2003 Between Concord Fire Department and CAMAFC calls Fire Alarm dispatched 15,130 calls.

The UHF Scanner Feed system broadcasts traffic received at the communications center on Channel 1 as well as fireground traffic from a remote site on the below frequencies to the scanner feed receiver, which carries the audio over various scanner feeds an apps. Additionally, select CFD and Capital Area mobiles and portables are programmed to monitor the frequencies.
