Countywide Information
- Fire District 1 covers Nantucket County
Switch to P25 System
It was reported prior to and confirmed 5/26/12 that Nantucket Fire is now using the island's P25 trunked system. They are using talkgroup 21 which is in the clear at this time. The VHF Hi-Band primary is still in use, but most likely as a simulcast of the TRS. Refer to the Nantucket County Police Departments page for complete system info.
