The VHF Turnpike maintenance Repeaters apparently are no longer in use by "Mass Pike" maintenance workers anymore, as of January 1, 2013. Some have transitioned to the State trunk system. Some new low band frequencies have been licensed for mobile use, as yet unknown. Mass Pike Trucks Still Plow The Mass Pike and are relabeled with MA DOT Logo, however they retain their old Mass Pike Unit Call Signs, also some Old Mass Pike Trucks are being used off the Mass Pike -- The former mass pike roads will continue to be maintained and plowed by the state. Some active DOT talk groups on the Massachusetts State Police trunk system have been identified, any further identification is welcome.
