OneVoice Network - Official Thread

I was able to enter 484.9625 and hear the CC from a lookout I monitor from. I was able to set up DSDPlus and verify the following
1/2 484.9625 DCC 1 CC is slot 2
11/12 464.7625 DCC 1

National EMS and Reds Towing were active. The traffic went through those 3 voice slots and I didn't see any other channel numbers pop up.

Never mind, I found my error. I had the network number set incorrectly in the DSD.frequencies file.

DSD_CC shows NL of 26, 50, 52.

I updated the WIKI with the Paxton info from the newest OTAP file. The channels are correct but may not all be used.

Two new talk groups on Site 69 that I'm not ready to put on the Wiki yet.

500342 Units doing measurements of some sort from a variety of locations. Not enough traffic to figure out where or who they are.

500281 Sounds like school bus/special needs vans. Again not enough traffic to pin anything down.

Just in case anyone wants to listen in.

I took a random stroll through 463 MHz last night and stumbled across the control channel for previously unreported Site 65.

463.8875

Con+ DCC: 5 NL: 61 63 66 67 69

It was coming into Burlington with a strong signal (albeit post-LNA).

This morning (around 7 AM?) the CC switched to 461.7125, with a somewhat weaker signal.

No traffic last night, but three TGs this morning:

600026
600030
600031

Not enough traffic to ID yet, but they seemed consistent with school bus systems. One of the potential licensees is All-Comm Technologies with a transmitter in Haverhill, and TG 600031 referenced "Phillips Crossing" which is a Haverhill location, FWIW.

I've just barely started to scratch the surface on this, but figured somebody might be interested in preliminary info.

Radio Reference has that as being in Haverhill, with just those two channels. I'll add it to the Wiki here since we don't have it listed. I'm too far south of Boston to here that except under very unusual circumstances.

Thanks.

Thanks garys.

After an additional 24+ hours of monitoring/recording and research, here is some more info.

1. Confirmed talk groups based on numerous street and school names, plus town/city web sites:

600026 Billerica, MA School Buses (Eastern School Bus Co.)

600030 Haverhill, MA Trash & recycling trucks (Capitol Waste Services)
600031 Haverhill, MA Bulk pick-up trucks (Capitol Waste Services)

2. License: Almost certainly WPPC649, All-Comm Technologies. The second transmitter location in Derry, NH would be consistent with a drop in signal strength when the control channel swaps frequencies.

3. Control channel appears to change daily at 4 AM.

TG 600009 has popped up on the Boston site lately. Only active during the evening and night hours. Some of the audio is hard to track, but it might be a security operation.

Yesterday afternoon I heard TG 600027 on the Boston site. School bus traffic, buses clearing their last run in the afternoon, no mentions of streets or schools. I have a feeling it could be another TG for Eastern Bus as their Billerica buses are on TG 600026.
Also read yesterday that they now have the contract for Waltham Public Schools, maybe this is the TG for those buses?

I heard this today. Definitely sounds like school bus traffic. Talk about leaving a lane open for the lunch delivery van. I know that some schools continue the free lunch program throughout the summer.

Also heard some weird traffic on 600009. Male voice called several times saying he needed help. He sounded pretty panicked, but after his initial calls, there was no further traffic.

Also, LCN 1 (484.825) on Boston is much weaker compared to the to 472Mhz channels. It also has a static burst at the beginning of transmissions.

Further on 600009 - it appears to be whatever security company patrols the Douglass Park Apartments. I've heard the mention 650 Columbus Ave, Douglass Park, the Tremont St side, responding to security-type calls, and unlocking the package rooms.

A friend of mine who lives in the city and drives around a lot is going to see if he can spot any vehicles with company markings.

Teamwork makes the dream work, I'm glad we could finally figure that one out. We figured out Elite Protective Services the same way, and there are a few other unidentified security companies on business trunked systems that will probably get figured out the same way.

On the subject of working together and private security Alliance Detective and Security is licensed on 152.3750. At one time they were on the now defunct Comtronics LTR 900 system. A friend was talking to one of the employees and noted that they have both VHF and 900Mhz antennas on their cars. The employee said that they are on a trunk system, but he didn't know which one. The 900 system is used for units operating in Boston.

We have one unidentified user on the Bearcom 900 trunk network. It's TG 436, which you logged as being on Site 1. I'm not in the city that much these days, so if you have the chance maybe you can listen and try to ID it. I can't get Site 1 from my home, but I'll add 436 to my SDS and see if I hear anything when I'm in range of Site 1.

I have heard traffic that sounds a lot like Alliance on the All-Comm UHF Capacity Plus system using TG 12, the nomenclature sounded a lot like what I hear on their VHF analog channel. I know that their Boston division units are marked differently from their Everett-based units so I believe (though it's been a while since I've heard them on TG12) that they are using the Cap+ TG for Boston. I'll have to give the All-Comm system a listen.

TG 435 on the Comtronics 900 system is a mystery for now, even though they call off mileage and have a least one car, they sound like a much smaller operation than Alliance. All of the traffic sounds like it's related to security operations at one dispensary whose location I'm still trying to work out.

Thanks! I'll have to look at my notes on DSDPlus for All Comm to see if I have anything. Since I'm done with the Data Radio VHF system for now, I'll plug All Comm Boston into DSD and give a listen.

While driving in Amherst yesterday,. I kept on getting the following on my 536HP

463.4125 NET 171 SITE 77 CC02.

Now we have this as being Stratton VT and the frequency IS on the site, according to the wiki and RR. Our Wiki lists no CC for this site, RR lists CC01 for the site. I am thinking the RR entry is wrong. Is there anyone closer who can verify?

(And Yes, there is a nice LOS path from that area of Vermont down to Hampshire County.)

Due to the massive upgrade on the trunked system from Connect Plus to DMR Tier III, please refer to the thread on it.

Added a few new Legacy 171-xx Sites from Vermont this past weekend.79, 83, 92 and 98

unlocked the thread for the LEGACY Site discussion not the TIII
