I have had no luck thus far which makes me wonder if it's time to do something about my antenna. I see one of the heavy-hitters at RR uses one of those Sirio 27-45 MHz ground plane antennas; they seem pricey for what they are. I may try building a vertical dipole cut to 39.5 MHz and see what it does.

Of course I wasn't monitoring yesterday as we were watching the continued demise of our football team.
 
I only heard them the one time so far this year. I don't think they're there yet, so to speak for the really big skip.
Today has been dead all day.
